This is NOT a DLC. This is a new game. "more like Elden Ring 1.5" It's hard as hell but fun as f*ck. World is extremely gorgeous. Bosses are so cool. 10/10 Highly recommended!

CUUURSSEE YOOUUU, BAAAYLEE!!! I HEREBY VOW! YOU WILL RUE THIS DAY!!!! BEHOLD, A TRUE DRAKE WARRIOR! AND I, IGONNN!!!! Man, Igon screams bring so much energy into the fight and that voice made that fight SUPER EPIC for me..
It's fun but FROM needs to address the performance issues beyond "players are running mouse software that tanks fps, your fault not ours".
All I want is for the frame rate to be fixed instead of locking at 15 fps for boss fights, and for that stupid hippos hitbox to be fixed as well.
This is a new direction from Fromsoft, one which i'm not very fond of. The bosses now move like they're Sister Friede, with the hp pool of Nameless king, and the damage of Manus. Usually i enjoy a good fight, i sit down and finally after a grueling 1-2 hours I've beaten the boss with my own strategies and wits. In this DLC i'm no longer able to play the game like i used, i look at the clock and 3 hours in, i'm still fighting the same boss, not quite able to dodge the 10 chain attack targeting me, maybe i'm getting old.. and i could just use summons or look for help online via guides, but i've never had to do that before and to me that's just not a good experience. Of-course this is very personal, but such is the nature of user reviews. to whoever read this, hope you have a nice day.
Fantastic DLC. Harder than the base game but every FromSoftware DLC is always more challenging. Nothing new here. The difficulty doesn't bother me. I fear that people are tunnel visioning onto the "review bombing" of this DLC because its 'too hard' but the main issue that is being glossed over is that it runs awfully. Thats my major issue with this DLC and an issue that is shared by many others. Performance issues are rife in this new area/patch. Im sure it will get better, like the base game did, but right now, I cannot recommend it in this state. TL;DR: DLC is hard, thats fine. However, runs like doo doo. EDIT: Yes, not everyone is having performance issues. But that does not mean that they aren't happening to a larger than acceptable amount of people. People who have systems that are a lot more powerful than the recommended specs listed.
Got very mixed feelings on this DLC. On one hand, there is so much to explore and find. On the other its all so needlessly hidden in hard to find places that you can easily end up finding the final boss in a few hours and then be completely lost on how to go to the other areas or whats even going on. The bosses on one hand are spectacular and complicated, but on the other hand some of them feel needlessly frustrating to where I felt the dlc was limiting in what builds can overcome them from a normal players point of view. When I finally did beat them I did not get the dopamine rush of old, I just felt a mellow sense of relief that I could move on and not deal with this shit anymore. The DLC has tons of interesting NPC storylines based on what I've read, but unless you're glued to a wikipedia guide you're gonna miss most of if not all of them. Crossed this random doorway early on? "Sucks to be you, most questlines are now in a failed state, but we won't tell you that." DLC feels like a spiteful response to someone saying they like spicy food so you decided to feed them exclusively ghost reaper based dishes for the entire duration of their visits. And as a final reflection, this could be entirely a me issue. I can totally see how a lot of people will love this. But for me this is the first miss in a long line of hits.
