Five years after the events of Saints Row: The Third, the Boss is elected President of the United States and assigns their Cabinet roles to their friends. Everything is perfect until an alien empire - the Zin, launches an invasion against Earth. The aliens abduct the President, destroy the White Crib (the White House) and imprison each of the Saints in their personal simulations of their own hell. The Boss must escape the simulation, save the Saints and take down the Zin leader, Zinyak. Very similar to previous SR games, we can play the main story, complete missions and challenges, and collect collectibles. EPIC WTF??????????? every positive review was either bought, only play single player or love the series so much. CO-OP is the biggest crap right now and epic games just doesn't care. Why does a game released in 2013, that I've bought on Steam, suddenly require me to download Epic Games software for it to run without crashing the moment I start playing? Went though the necesary downloads. I can play it at least now. It still crahes a lot more than it used to

To begin with, I love this game, had it on ps3, my old steam account and even this one, but however you think it's going to run, it's not. The reason for this, and I'll save you the time, is the quote "re-elected patch" because it incorporates Epic online services (oh yeah I hope you're cool with being forced install on that when you open the game if you don't already have it installed.) and I'm sure it does a few other things under the hood, in fact I'm certain it does because I have a pretty sweet pc and this 2013 game that prior to this patch on pc ran at easy 120, now tanks down to like less then 30 pretty regularly even with all the settings set to the lowest possible. Now it's not all doom and gloom, I mean still kinda is, but there's a pretty easy solution (tho we shouldn't have to fix it ourselves but it be like that sometimes) If you want old school SR4 without any of the dlc or multiplayer all you gotta do is go to properties, beta, and choose the legacy and on max settings it runs like I remember. This is one of the few games of many that I own that I've replayed over the years, and really all I can say is "Look at how they massacred my boy."
