This game is very immersive and mystifying, as someone who's played this game for over 2000 hours, I can vouch to say that there is loads to do in this game as long as you stay creative and think above and beyond, there is much to learn in this game and hidden secrets you will find, as well as many game breaking bugs, you could also try glitch hunting, speedrunning, or just become very good at playing the game casually, as long as you have an idea you can make it real, there's many things to do in this game and many places to explore, as well as places to raid and get loot from. There's also many challenges to overcome and many fears to brave in whatever way is best, now stay safe, enjoy the game and have a good time!

Almost a 20hr playthrough ruined due to a game breaking bug which causes you to fall through the floor in one of the last alien bases in the game. Can't load back as save file is now stuck in the ground. Really pood from the devs as forums show this has been an issue since at least 2020 and it's now 2024 and this bug still exists. Game is absolutely fantastic just ruined by something so simple.
I bought this game only to play in VR and quickly realized that this game has zero support for VR aside from being able to see it with a headset on. This is intentionally misleading to me, and the developers should either take the VR tag off or fix it. I do not recommend this title if you wanted it for VR like I did.
Overrated tosh. Not scary. Grindy. Directionless. Too much RNG. Poor QoL that requires modding to make it playable (I had to mod in proper inventory management, hotkeys, and an actual map). You're supposed to explore for the joy of it, but exploration is A) disorienting and B) constantly stymied by you lacking some resource or upgrade, which then means you have to wander around the ocean floor hoping to find the RNG recipe in one of the places that your current resource/upgrade threshold is capable of reaching. It's deeply unrewarding to play this way, constantly getting turned around and lost, so you end up using Google every time there's something you need to find, which defeats the purpose of the game's design. This is game is stupendously overrated nonsense.
After about 50 hrs, my file got corrupted and was frozen on save screen. I had high hopes for this game, i really enjoyed it, but after all my 50 hrs down the drain, i don't recommend this game due to this bug. After a while, things start to disappear on the map, fishes, corals, then lava pools etc., thats when I cant save the game anymore
I enjoyed playing the game itself, despite some technical issues like textures popping in very late, some repetitive mechanics and some janky animations. I would recommend it, but the game erased a whole, long session's worth of my progress when quitting, saying I saved "5 minutes ago", but when loading the next day, it returned me to where I was 6+ hours ago. While I wanted to see the end, I don't have it in me to grind the same stuff again.
