The Crew 2 doesn't work on the Steam Deck because Ubisoft refuses to support it. They could flip a switch and allow Linux compatibility with the anti-cheat, they just don't want to. Plus we now know that paying for this game does not equal owning the game. Ubisoft owns the game and they will take away your access whenever they feel like it, just like they did with the original. They don't respect Steam Deck customers but that shouldn't be a surprise because they've shown through their actions that they don't respect any of their customers.
