What the community wishes

Add NPCs for a livelier world
The game world feels empty without NPCs walking around. Adding NPCs would make the environment feel more alive and interactive, enhancing immersion and providing more opportunities for player engagement.
Improve control mechanics and responsiveness
The wobbly physics can hinder gameplay, especially during missions. Refining control mechanics and responsiveness would make tasks like picking up objects and completing jobs less frustrating and more enjoyable.
Add more interactive furniture
Players want more interaction with furniture, such as sitting on couches, turning off lights, or using sinks. Adding these features would enhance the realism and immersion of the game.
Fix multiplayer input delay
Some players experience slight input delays in multiplayer mode. Addressing this issue would improve the overall multiplayer experience, making it smoother and more enjoyable.
Add persistent house item storage
Items placed in houses disappear after logging out. Adding persistent storage for items in houses would make the game more rewarding and allow players to personalize their spaces.
Expand friend system in multiplayer
Players want a better way to friend others in multiplayer, such as through Steam. Implementing a friend system would enhance the social aspect of the game and make it easier to play with others.
Add more content updates
Some players have exhausted all current content and are waiting for new updates. Regular content updates, like the rumored space update, would keep the game fresh and engaging.
Improve job difficulty balance
Some jobs are too difficult, especially for younger players or solo players. Balancing job difficulty would make the game more accessible and enjoyable for all age groups.
Fix controller compatibility issues
Controller compatibility issues, such as conflicts with other devices, prevent some players from using controllers. Fixing these issues would improve accessibility and user experience.
Add more secrets and collectibles
Players enjoy finding secrets and collectibles. Adding more hidden items and areas would increase replayability and exploration incentives.
Expand character customization
Players want more options for character customization, such as additional clothing and accessories. Expanding customization would allow for greater personal expression.
Add more mini-games
Mini-games are a highlight for many players. Adding more mini-games would provide additional variety and keep the gameplay experience fresh.
Improve driving mechanics
Driving mechanics are described as 'okay' but could be improved. Enhancing vehicle controls and physics would make driving more enjoyable and realistic.
Add more lore and story elements
While the game has some lore, players want more story elements to deepen the world. Adding narrative content would enhance immersion and engagement.
Optimize performance for lower-end PCs
Some players report performance issues on lower-end PCs. Optimizing the game for a wider range of hardware would improve accessibility and player satisfaction.
Add more cooperative activities
Players enjoy cooperative gameplay but want more activities designed for teamwork. Adding more co-op missions or challenges would enhance multiplayer fun.
Include more humor and absurdity
The game's humor and absurdity are highlights for many players. Adding more quirky and funny elements would amplify the game's charm and appeal.
Add more dynamic events
Dynamic events, such as random encounters or world changes, would make the game world feel more alive and unpredictable, increasing replayability.
Improve tutorial and job instructions
Some jobs lack clear instructions, making them confusing for players. Adding better tutorials and job instructions would improve the onboarding experience.
Add more pets and interactions

Hey guys I just want recommend some update ideas I was thinking you guys should add more interacting with furniture because in the game you can not sit on the couch or turn off the lights or even turn on the sink! and that is all i hope you guys add this idea to the game.

  • Sentiments

    • I feel that the game lacks interaction with furniture, which is disappointing because I cannot sit on the couch or interact with basic household items like turning off lights or using the sink.
    • I hope the developers consider adding more interactive elements to the game, as it would greatly enhance the overall experience.
    • I find it frustrating that the game does not allow for simple interactions like turning on the sink, which feels like a missed opportunity for immersion.
    • I appreciate the opportunity to share my ideas for updates, as I believe they could improve the game significantly.
    • I think the game could benefit from more realistic interactions, such as being able to sit on furniture, which would make the world feel more alive.

Negative

I've been playing the game with my son for several years and yes, it seems superficially "simple" but the in-depth mission structure is very challenging and sometimes very grind-heavy. Basically, it's a lot of fun, even with the mods + challenges. But the best thing is the local co-op, a feature that is becoming increasingly rare these days. So why the thumbs down? With every update the game became more instable, a list of broken things: - it stutters on the lowest setting on several current systems in our home. - Normal stutters up to 1 FPS for 20 seconds every few minutes. - With each update it has gotten worse, what an achivement. - Purses are extremely buggy, meaning they fly away, disappear, bug out, etc. - Son saves up for a house, his left sock touches the car and the money is catapulted into the stratosphere. Just perfect. Please fix the game.

  • Sentiments

    • I find the game to be a lot of fun, especially with the mods and challenges, which add to the enjoyment.
    • I appreciate the local co-op feature, which is becoming increasingly rare in modern games and enhances the experience.
    • I feel the in-depth mission structure is very challenging and sometimes grind-heavy, which adds depth to the gameplay.
    • I am frustrated that the game has become more unstable with every update, causing performance issues on multiple systems.
    • I experience frequent stutters, even on the lowest settings, which significantly disrupts gameplay.
    • I am annoyed by the severe frame rate drops, sometimes down to 1 FPS for extended periods, making the game nearly unplayable.
    • I am disappointed that purses in the game are extremely buggy, often flying away, disappearing, or bugging out, which ruins immersion.
    • I am upset that my son's in-game savings for a house were lost due to a bug where money was catapulted into the stratosphere, which feels unfair.
    • I am critical of the developers for allowing the game's stability to worsen with each update, which feels like a step backward.
    • I hope the developers fix the game's issues, as it has potential but is currently hindered by technical problems.

Negative

Timed jumping puzzles, rising water puzzles, stealth puzzles, and all of this with jank-ass wobble physics and broken jumping. No. Just no. The game is fun when it remembers that the physics are wonky, but half the time it seems the developers forgot what kind of game they were making and decided that the player needed extreme precision to pass the challenges. If you don't want to scream at your computer, just don't.

  • Sentiments

    • I find the timed jumping puzzles frustrating due to the janky wobble physics and broken jumping mechanics.
    • I feel that the rising water puzzles are poorly designed and add unnecessary difficulty to the game.
    • I think the stealth puzzles are poorly executed and do not align well with the game's overall mechanics.
    • I believe the game is fun when it acknowledges its wonky physics, but this happens inconsistently.
    • I feel that the developers often forget the limitations of their physics system, leading to frustrating gameplay.
    • I think the game demands extreme precision from the player, which feels unfair given its unreliable mechanics.
    • I find myself wanting to scream at my computer due to the game's frustrating challenges and lack of polish.
    • I would not recommend this game to anyone who values a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience.

Negative

I don’t know how this game has so many positive reviews… it’s got some charm to it, for sure, but it’s not well made. The worst offender is this: the game has a lot of jumping/parkour puzzles but the controls are the worst kind of slippery, inconsistent, physics-based mess. It’s frustrating to play, not because it’s a challenge but because you have to fight the game to get your character to do what you want it to do. It’s the blessing and curse of games that are early access or cheap. You don’t pay much so you get what you pay for, and that drives a lot of reviews, because you don’t have buyer’s remorse; but what you get still isn’t a good game. It’s a poorly made, grindy, time sink.

  • Sentiments

    • I find it confusing how this game has so many positive reviews, as I believe it is not well made despite having some charm.
    • I think the game has charm, which is a positive aspect, but it is overshadowed by its poor quality.
    • I feel the game's jumping and parkour puzzles are frustrating due to the slippery, inconsistent, and physics-based controls.
    • I find the controls to be a mess, making it difficult to get the character to perform actions as intended.
    • I believe the game is frustrating to play not because it is challenging, but because it feels like fighting against the game itself.
    • I think the game is a poorly made, grindy, and time-consuming experience.
    • I acknowledge that the game is cheap or in early access, which might explain the lack of buyer's remorse and the positive reviews.
    • I feel that the low price of the game influences reviews, as players expect less and are less critical due to the low cost.
    • I believe the game is not good, despite its low price, as it fails to deliver a quality experience.
    • I think the game's flaws are significant enough to outweigh any charm or low-cost appeal it might have.

Negative

So I have not played a lot of this but of what I see and I have done I like it. So why the not recommended? At this time the game is in Early Access and so many things will be changed or improved upon. This much is a given. However I'm struggling with the control mechanics and more precisely controls themselves. I realize that it's a "wobbly" physics based engine, however some of this gets in the way of actually being able to do the missions i e the jobs. Pros: very cute game. Immensely wobbly. Tons of things to do in this game from working saving money buying house to buying cars, owning a pet more. Fun can be had in many ways. Well not recommended in real life in the online mode you and other people can post as abductors and abductee. Translate they throw you into a moving van for some other vehicle with a button on side and then drive off with you inside of it. Great laughs Cons: I'll try to be and I'll try to narrow everything. Some of what makes up the theme of this game it's actually kind of what hampers it for me to play. Controls and control mechanics need to be worked on. When trying to pick something up sometimes you will get attached to something other than your attended object. Well I feel that this is very family friendly game, I believe even parents would find some of the jobs quite difficult. If you find yourself swearing at the monitor , just imagine what your kids are going through. Conclusion: QOL, better control schemes and mechanics looking at which jobs might be asking too much even for one or more people that are playing. A good example of this is the newspaper job. There isnt any controls instructuons listed so the way papers come off the belt on the x y and z. It still remains a mystery to me when trying to get the papers to the customers. If these areas get looked after, I'm sure I'll come around again but as it is I find it difficult to play this game. Grade: (so far) - B

  • Sentiments

    • I like the game overall, especially its cute and wobbly nature, which makes it fun and unique.
    • The game offers a lot of activities, such as working, saving money, buying houses, cars, and owning pets, which adds to its appeal.
    • The online mode, where players can role-play as abductors and abductees, is hilarious and adds a fun social element.
    • I find the control mechanics frustrating, as they often interfere with completing missions or tasks effectively.
    • The physics-based engine, while unique, sometimes makes the controls feel unintuitive and difficult to manage.
    • I believe the game is family-friendly, but some jobs are so challenging that even parents might struggle, which could be frustrating for younger players.
    • The lack of clear control instructions for certain jobs, like the newspaper delivery, makes it hard to understand how to perform tasks correctly.
    • I appreciate the potential of the game, but its current state in Early Access means many aspects need improvement before I can fully recommend it.
    • I find the game difficult to play in its current state due to the issues with controls and mechanics, which hampers my overall enjoyment.
    • If the quality-of-life improvements, better control schemes, and mechanics are addressed, I would consider revisiting and recommending the game.

Negative

Its a cute game with fun quests at points, but the clunky physics system and terrible driving mechanics makes it a nightmare to actually play sometimes, and some of the missions are impossible to get good rewards on them Solo. Ice cream shop comes to mind. And why is the E key non-bindable? Thats an annoying design choice, especially as an autistic person who prefers E as their main interact key.

  • Sentiments

    • I find the game to be cute and enjoyable at times, especially with its fun quests.
    • The clunky physics system makes the game frustrating and difficult to play at times.
    • The terrible driving mechanics add to the frustration and make the gameplay experience unpleasant.
    • Some missions are nearly impossible to complete solo, especially when trying to achieve good rewards.
    • The ice cream shop mission is particularly frustrating and stands out as a negative example.
    • The inability to bind the E key is an annoying design choice that limits customization.
    • As an autistic person, I find the non-bindable E key especially frustrating since I prefer it as my main interact key.
